The chairman of the Dhaka Board said that even if the JSC exam is canceled, educational institutions will test 8th grade students anyway and pass the 9th grade in their respective systems. The Bangladesh Exam Development Unit (BEDU) will prepare a guide in this regard. And the beginning of making this guide will be to evaluate the number of classes held through March 15 before the start of Corona and then consider the number of classes held on Parliament TV and online. With this, if the class starts considering the corona situation, evaluate based on those classes. Otherwise, the assessment will be based on classes taken through March 15 and classes taken on television and online.
The objective is to make this evaluation at the end of next December. If corona is in control of the situation, then if a physical assessment is possible, do so. And if that is not possible, organizations, even online, will make this assessment according to their ability. The institutions will decide whether this evaluation will be done by examination or in some other way at their convenience. But the evaluation must be one.
And the subjects that cannot be taught in the curriculum will be tied to the ninth grade, the professor said. A. Ziaul Haque.
