Dhaka: The Narcotics Control Department arrested two people for selling foreign liquor, beer and lead at a horse restaurant in Gulshan, the capital, without a license or permit. At that time, 203 bottles of foreign liquor of different brands, 600 cans of beer, two kg of lead and lead consumption equipment were recovered from the restaurant.
An anti-drug campaign was conducted at the Horse and Horse Restaurant at 53 Gulshan Avenue in the capital from 9 pm to 12 pm on Tuesday (September 23).
The two detainees are: Horse and Horse Restaurant Manager. Monir and Cashier Sarwar.
Said the deputy director of the Department of Narcotics Control (AD) of the Metro North Region of Dhaka. Mehedi Hasan told banglanews that the restaurant had been selling foreign spirits and beers without permission for a long time. We carry out operations on the basis of confidential information. There, large quantities of illegal foreign liquor, beer and the lead and equipment of the prohibited drug were recovered.
He said the manager of the Horse and Horse Restaurant was unable to show any valid documents or licenses in this regard. The restaurant manager and cashier were arrested for illegally operating alcohol, beer, selling and consuming prohibited lead without a license.
Eddie Mehedi Hasan also said that the Department of Narcotics Control is taking legal action against the detainees.
