Former Prime Minister and JD (S) HD Supreme Deve Gowda has expressed deep grief over the death of Suresh Angadi. In a tweet, Dev Gowda referred to him as “like a little brother”. At the same time, he expressed his condolences to the bereaved families.

On September 11, Angadi said on social media that he was targeted by Corona. He wrote: ‘I tested positive for Covid-19 today. The report was positive. I follow the advice of the doctors and I am fine. Please monitor the health of all those who have been in contact with me in the last few days and check for any symptoms. The Union Minister was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi last week. His death has cast a shadow of mourning over the political arena.
