After a long hiatus from the coronavirus epidemic, holy Umrah finally came to a halt. The Umrah Hajj will be launched for locals in Saudi Arabia from October 4, according to the Saudi Press Agency, citing the Saudi Ministry of the Interior. It will be launched in three steps. Considering the situation in Corona, Umrah Hajj will be open to all Muslims locally and internationally from November 1.

In the first phase, only Saudi citizens and residents residing in Saudi Arabia will be able to participate in Umrah Hajj from October 4 (visit 17). In the first case, about 30 percent of the total capacity of the Umrah Hajj, that is, six thousand people in one day will have the opportunity to enter the Holy Mosque. It will be mandatory to follow the strictest hygiene rules throughout Umrah Hajj.

In the second phase, starting on October 16, a maximum of 15,000 people will be able to perform Umrah in one day. At this time, 40,000 faithful will be able to enter the Holy Mosque. Which collectively represents 75% of the total capacity.

The third step will be to stay in Saudi Arabia from November 1 and allow all Muslims from abroad to enter the Grand Mosque for Hajj and worship. At that time, 20,000 Umrah pilgrims and 60,000 worshipers will be able to enter the Masjidul Haram every day, which is equal to the full capacity.

Residents of Saudi Arabia will be able to apply for permission for Umrah Hajj from September 26. However, before applying, you must submit a negative report.
