Sifat was burned to death in an explosion in Narayanganj

Shahadat Hossain Sifat, 18, who was in treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Plastic Surgery and Burns, was killed in an explosion at a mosque in Narayanganj. He died in the ICU at 10:30 am on Tuesday.

34 people died in the accident. Sifat was trying to gain admission to the university after passing a school’s SSC in Talla. 22 percent of his body was burned in the accident. His father Swapan Sheikh worked in a decoration company. Sifat, the second of three siblings, lived with his family on the ground floor.

Kenan (24) and Amjad (36) are currently in treatment in the ICU. The airways of everyone under treatment have been burned. Of these, 30 percent in Canaan and 25 percent in Amjad were burned.

By the way, on the night of September 4, there was an explosion at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque on the west floor during Esha prayers. The 36 burn victims were admitted to Dhaka Medical’s Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. 34 people died during treatment. Only a man named Mamun has returned home healthy.
