Dhaka: Police arrested a total of 10 people, including men and women, in a raid on a spa center called the ‘Hijama Therapy and Body Massage Center’ at the Navana Tower in Gulshan, the capital. Among them there are 5 women and 5 men.
They were arrested on Tuesday night (September 22) in a raid on Level 22 / A, Apartment No. 45, Floor 16 / A, Navana Tower, Gulshan-1.

He said that for a long time, illegal prostitution and sexual exploitation and oppressive activities were carried out here in Dhaka under the name of SPAR by bringing together young women and girls of different ages.
He said that five men and five women were arrested in Hatena on charges of antisocial activities and prostitution.
It added that during the preliminary interrogation, the defendants revealed their names and addresses and confessed to prostitution.
He also mentioned that by establishing, operating and calling for prostitution in order to gain financial gain, he is pushing the youth of the country to the brink of destruction.
A case has been brought against the defendants arrested under the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act at the Gulshan Police Station.
