The main defendants in the case, Hassan Al Mamun and Noor, have been charged with complicity and instigation of rape.
Rabbani further wrote that on January 3 this year, the victim had a serious accusation of being raped in a house on Nawabganj Road in Lalbagh. In the investigation of this delicate case, Mr. Noor’s position, political position or ideology should not be considered as regulatory or influential. It is expected that the accusation will be properly and impartially investigated as soon as possible, that legal action will be taken if convicted, and that he will be acquitted if he pleads not guilty.
