The written examination for the registration of lawyers of the Bangladesh Bar Council was postponed. The test was scheduled for September 28.

The statement said that in the current situation of the epidemic coronavirus, several centers refused to carry out the test at the last minute.

Acceptance is not possible. If the situation is normal, the test mentioned in the short notice will be taken later.

On July 26, the registration committee of the Bar Association set September 27 for the bar exam for 13,000 students.

The Bar Association has introduced the rule of passing objective, written and oral examinations to obtain a certificate as a lawyer. Once students have passed any of the three-step exams, they have the opportunity to participate in the next exam a second time. 3,590 students who dropped out of the written exam in 2016 and 6,064 students who passed the MCQ in 2020 are expected to participate in the written exam this time.
