Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed stakeholders to make preparations from now on, fearing a further deterioration of Corona’s situation in the coming winter.

He gave the directive while receiving a grant to the Prime Minister’s Welfare and Assistance Fund via video conference from Ganobhaban on Sunday (September 20).

Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the Prime Minister’s Office. Ahmed Kaikaus accepted the scholarship.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that everyone has sincerely worked to combat the corona virus. Everyone, I can’t exclude anyone. That’s probably why we’ve been able to fix it. But with winter ahead, the situation could get a bit worse. However, we must be prepared from now on.

‘This is what we want everyone to be healthy. He prayed that the country would free itself from the epidemic of this corona virus. For the whole world to be set free. People are really suffering from this corona virus. ‘

“However, we are taking appropriate measures to keep Bangladesh’s trade and commerce afloat,” he added. We have announced incentive packages. We are going through everything we need for him. We will work for the people, that is our goal.

He thanked banks and other institutions for advancing in social and humanitarian work. Thanks for introducing yourself.

In the context of private banks, said the head of government, business and commerce must be managed. And in fact we decided to give the bank in private, we gave more. We have also taken steps to get people used to banking down to the village level. I have even arranged for farmers to open accounts for 10 rupees. In other words, we have taken steps to get people used to being able to carry out their financial transactions through banks.

The Prime Minister said: “The more private banks we have, the more jobs we will have.” Many people have jobs. This is the most important. And our business has expanded. That is what we want banks to do well there. In that case, we always consider the laws of the bank or whatever we do, when you make a claim, which is reasonable.

In ensuring that the demands of the BAB chairman regarding the banking sector would be considered, Sheikh Hasina said: “I will see what the BAB chairman Nazrul Saheb has said.” If there is any problem, we must consider it so that there is no problem. We ask that you pay special attention to the smooth running of the bank.

He said that some banks have become very weak. In that case, it will take a long time to fuse. That must be taken into account. Which one can work properly? They will be considered. Nothing will be done without consideration.

The Prime Minister’s Welfare and Assistance Fund has received grants from 34 banks from Bangladesh Banking Association, Foreign Officials Spouses Association, Bangladesh Institute of Architects, Ministers Group, Ministry of Food, University National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Rajshahi Medical University, Bangladesh Judicial Employees Association.
