Pictures made on Facebook about dog removal: DSCC

DSCCDhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has alleged that a number of misleading and fabricated images circulate on Facebook about the removal of stray dogs from the capital. The agency says it is an attempt to question the image of the DSCC. The allegations were made in a press release sent to the media on Saturday (September 19).
Various images of Dhaka South City Corporation are said to have been seen on Facebook. In images circulating, dogs are euthanized and taken to a car or shown in a picture, many dead sterile dogs have been killed and left by the sewer. Once again, the sterile dog is shown somewhere being carried away in an open truck after it has been mutilated or killed. The images described are completely fabricated and distorted. Dhaka South City Corporation requests that everyone refrain from promoting such images.
According to the notification, conscientious citizens will understand if they notice with a little attention, in the image in which the dog is being killed and taken to the car, the car has the word ‘Ministry’ written on the back. But since Dhaka South City Corporation’s transportation department is quite wealthy, the corporation never uses any ministry vehicles or there is no need to use them. So the car is definitely not from DSCC. The dog is also taken to the car immediately after administration of the vaccine to temporarily anesthetize it during the dog extraction operation. So there is no place for many dogs to be vaccinated and left together in one place by the sewer.
In addition, he said that DSCC has not killed or is killing any stray dogs. Therefore, a person or a group or an organized group is abusing social networks by fabricating false, fabricated and distorted images and by questioning the image of DSCC. The population of Dhaka and the general public in the country were asked not to be distracted by such propaganda. If this malpractice continues, Dhaka South City Corporation will be forced to take legal action against criminals through the ‘Digital Security Act 2018’.
