The DNA report found evidence that a teenage girl was raped by her uncle for three days in a row in an empty house. Comilla Nangalkot Police Station Officer and Deputy Inspector (SI) Akhter Hossain received the DNA test report sent in the incident on Saturday (September 19). He himself has confirmed this information.
A police officer said the niece’s fetus DNA report matched the uncle’s involvement.
The incident took place in the village of Hesiyara in Bangadda, Nangalkot upazila junction of Comilla. The rapist Sohail, 45, is the son of Abdul Mannan from the village of Hesiara. As the girl was eight months pregnant at the incident, the girl’s father filed a lawsuit against her brother Sohail (45) on June 13 at the initiative of the Nangalkot police. The next day, June 14, the police arrested the accused rapist Sohail and sent him to jail through court. The girl blamed her uncle Sohail and gave a confessional statement in court. Subsequently, the girl’s medical examination was completed at the Comilla Medical College Hospital.
At the end of last June, the teenager gave birth through Cesar. Later, with the mediation of the officer in charge of the Bakhtiyar Uddin Chowdhury Nangalkot (OC) Police Station, the girl’s daughter was adopted by a childless couple in Chaumuhani in Noakhali. The condition for the adoption of the child was that the child had to be fathered at any time in the interest of investigating the case, including DNA evidence. Subsequently, the DNA of the teenager’s son was analyzed.
However, the rapist named Sohail has been in jail for only one month. Abdul Mannan, the rapist’s father, tried to drop the case by announcing that he would evict the victim and his father to save the child. An uncle of the rapist, a cousin and an uncle were involved in the incident. In this situation, the girl’s father was defenseless and Nimraji was afraid to release his relatives, so her brother, the rapist Sohail, was released on bail. Later, after a garland of flowers around her neck, she created panic in the area by staging a motorcycle showdown and rejoicing. Images and videos of her motorcycle confrontation and her jubilation were disseminated on Facebook social networks. When the report was published on Bangla TV, the issue was discussed.
The investigating officer on the case, Deputy Inspector (SI) Akhtar Hossain, said the charge sheet for the case will be issued shortly after confirming the involvement of rapist uncle Sohail in the DNA test results.
