Dhaka: Officer Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi (UN) from Dinajpur Wahida Khanam, who was seriously injured in the attack, has been transferred to the Ministry of Public Administration and appointed Special Officer in Charge (OSD).
At the same time, her husband Rangpur Pirganj UNO said. The government has transferred Mejbaul Hossain as chief undersecretary of the health services department of the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order last Wednesday (September 16) to transfer them to Dhaka. The order said they were appointed to these positions step by step until a new order was given.
On September 2, criminals broke into a government house in Dinajpur and attacked Wahida Khanam and her father. Wahida Khanam, seriously injured, is being treated at the National Neuroscience Hospital in Dhaka. Later, his father was admitted there. The police and the RAB have arrested several people in connection with the attack.
An official from the Ministry of Public Function said that the transfer order has been issued by the ministry to keep the husband and wife in the same workplace.
