Although educational institutions are closed due to the Corona epidemic, the study continues online. Classes of different levels are being broadcast on television and radio. This year the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Primary Education Completion (PEC) exams will not be taken either. As a result, the education administration is more concerned with the upper secondary exam (HSC). However, in recent times, the corona detection rate has dropped a bit and HSC exams are being considered. In this case, the test is scheduled to be completed during the current year.

According to relevant sources, if it is not possible to complete the HSC exam soon, other public exams will be delayed proportionally in the coming days. If it is too late to take the HSC exam, the session jam in higher education will be longer. Therefore, boards of education want to complete the HSC exam within the current year, even if the educational institutions are not open. Corona plans to test next November if the situation improves.

According to the relevant sources, on September 24 a meeting of the Inter-educational Board was called. This is the first direct meeting of the Presidents of the Board of Education during the Corona term. The main topics of discussion are the planning of the HSC exams and the evaluation of the JSC candidates. Since the JSC exam will not be held this time, a decision may need to be made at the meeting on how these students will be promoted to the ninth class.

Chairman of the Subcommittee for Coordination between Boards of Education and Chairman of the Board of Education, Professor. Ziaul Haque told Kaler Kantha: “The regular meeting of the Inter-Education Board will be held on September 24th. However, after several days a direct meeting will be held in which the chairmen of the board will be present. Various topics will be discussed, including the exam. We will hear the valuable opinions and suggestions of all the presidents of the council.

Regarding the HSC exam, Professor Ziaul Haque said: ‘We are still in the previous position. This test can be taken at least 15 days after the opening of the educational institution. However, we have all the preparations to take the HSC exam.

It is known that the boards of education have already formulated a plan on what steps should be taken to take the HSC exam in compliance with the health rules, which will be presented at the next meeting on September 24. Previously, it was thought to do tests by placing students in a ‘Z’ shape, but the tables have moved away from there. This time it is planned to take a student in each bank. The number of centers will also be increased several times. Students will be admitted and discharged in accordance with hygiene standards. There are also plans to host more than 500 students in a single center.

The HSC and equivalent exams were supposed to start on April 1 this year, but the Ministry of Education was forced to postpone the exam due to the coronavirus. After that, five and a half months passed, but it was not possible to take the HSC exam. Students have no contact with universities at this time. The students have given up many things because they could not continue with the preparation. Most of the students dropped out of school.

The educational institution has vacations until October 3. In recent times, the crown identification rate has decreased a bit. Because in the meantime, educational institutions have been opened in various countries. That is why parents are also concerned about the issue. However, reliable sources from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said that holidays from educational institutions are increasing again. The educational institution will not open after October 3.

The publication of the brief lesson plan of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education also indicates the increase in the license of the educational institution. On September 18, the National Academy of Elementary Education (NAPE) released a short lesson plan for grades one through five for 39 days beginning November 1.

Concerned officials say that in the current situation, the educational institution may not open in October. That is why a short lesson plan has been posted with the plan to begin class activities from November. But it also depends on the situation in the next few days.
