Dhaka: The ministers have expressed their deep sorrow at the death of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi, Emir of Hifazat-e-Islam and chairman of Al Hayatul Uliya Lil Jamiatil Qawmiya, the main body of Qaumi Madrasa in Bangladesh.
In a separate message of condolences, they prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and conveyed their deepest condolences to grieving family members.
Ahmed Shafi died at the Asgar Ali Hospital in the capital’s Old Dhaka on Friday night (September 18).
