Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fulfilled the wish of a teenage girl with special needs. Expressing her desire to speak to the Prime Minister in a video call, the Prime Minister spoke in a video call with the girl named Raya following a video message broadcast on social media. The prime minister spoke to Raya via WhatsApp. Lawyer Biplob Barua, special assistant to the prime minister and secretary of the Awami League office, confirmed the matter to the Bengali Tribune.
Meanwhile, Professor Apu Ukil, General Secretary of the Juba Mahila League, affiliate of the Awami League, also posted on her Facebook ID that she was talking about the Prime Minister. In the post, Apu Ukil also posted two stills from the prime minister’s video call with the girl.
Apu Ukil wrote in a Facebook post: ‘By sacrificing their life for the people who want to make the dreams of the people of this country come true at every moment, they want to fulfill the wish. She is the daughter of the father of the nation, the beacon of humanity, the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Apu Ukil further wrote: ‘A teenager posted on social media expressing interest in speaking with the Prime Minister. When the humanitarian prime minister found out, he made a video call with the girl and spoke amid hundreds of activities.
In this regard, Biplob Barua said that the adolescent with special needs wanted to speak with the Prime Minister and when she gave a video message on social networks, she reached the Prime Minister’s notification. She used WhatsApp to talk to a girl named Raya.
Later, Raya’s teacher, Hasina Hafeez, expressed her gratitude to the Prime Minister. She also said that the Prime Minister spoke with Ray at 8pm on Thursday (September 18).
