Shilpi Samiti President Misha Saudagar’s ban is even stricter and Secretary General Zayed Khan’s decision to block entry to the FDC has been decided in a written petition with the FDC MD.
The decision was made after a discussion among the leaders of 19 film organizations on Thursday night.
Producers Association President Khorshed Alam Khasru told The Daily Star Online: “Misha Saudagar’s ban has been tightened. A written request will be made to the MD of FDC to prevent Zayed Khan from joining the FDC.
Previously, 19 film organizations boycotted Misha Saudagar, Chairman of Shilpi Samiti, and Zayed Khan, Secretary General. However, Misha Saudagar recently left for the United States without taking any action.
He added: “The omitted members of Shilpi Samiti are very upset with Zayed Khan. If Zayed makes it to FDC, he can be attacked. Since FDC is a government institution, we do not want any adverse incidents to occur here. We will send a written request to the CEO of FDC that Zayed Khan cannot join the FDC.
Producers Association President Khorshed Alam Khasru, Director Kazi Hayat, Producer Shamsul Alam, Directors Association President Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, Directors Association General Secretary Badiul Alam Khokon, and Omar Sunny were present at today’s discussion.
