China occupies 36,000 square kilometers of India

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that China occupies 37,000 square kilometers of Indian territory in Ladakh. He spoke at the Indian state assembly on Thursday.

He said that China had illegally occupied at least 36,000 square kilometers in the Ladakh Union Territory. In addition, Pakistan has ceded 5,160 square kilometers of Pakistani-occupied Kashmir to China under the so-called 1963 Sino-Pakistan Border Agreement.

Rajnath said that China has claimed about 90,000 square kilometers of Arunachal Pradesh.

On the Sino-Indian tensions in Rajya Sabha on Thursday, he said that no power in the world could prevent Indian troops from patrolling Ladakh. He blamed Chinese forces for trying to stop Indian troops from patrolling Ladakh. The patrol pattern of the Indian army in East Ladakh will not change at all.

Previously, Rajnath addressed the Lok Sabha of India on Tuesday. There he gave a clear message to China. He said that the Indian army has completed all the preparations. India has the power to severely punish any occupying-minded neighbor.

It should be noted that China is increasing its manpower and weapons at the border despite talking about peace. India is going the same way to maintain balance. But as a result, the border is heating up.
