Obaidul Quader said this while speaking to journalists on contemporary issues in his office at the Secretariat on Thursday (September 18).
He said that there is negligence among people to prevent corona infection and there is negligence among people. It is seen that there is a feeling without a body. The image that is seen in the markets, transport, ferries, shopping malls, public places, it seems that there is no coronation in the country. If left unmanaged, they can stray and lose their way. Experts say the second corona wave could hit next winter. The continuity of the infection is not diminishing yet.
The Minister of Road and Bridge Transport further said that the number of infections in neighboring India has reached between 90,000 and 100,000 per day. For this reason, as a neighboring country, we have to be vigilant and vigilant. Meanwhile, the second wave is hitting different countries in the world, including Europe. In this context, we do not have the opportunity to play in any way. The wheel of life and livelihoods must advance after wearing the mask in accordance with hygiene rules. The slightest negligence can put us at risk.
