Once again, Saudi Arabia promised to support the Palestinians. The country says it supports the Palestinian people and will support them to solve all their logical demands and the Palestinian crisis.
This was stated in a statement at a virtual meeting of the Saudi government cabinet hosted by Neom on Tuesday (September 15). The statement also clarified Saudi Arabia’s position in favor of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital within the 1967 borders.
King Salman said: “Saudi Arabia is eager to work with the G20 countries. Saudi Arabia will be a partner in the world economy to address the epidemic crisis.
On Tuesday, when the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain reached an agreement at the White House in Washington to normalize relations with Israel, Saudi Arabia made its position known on behalf of the Palestinians. On the other hand, US President Donald Trump expressed his hope that they will follow the path of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates to establish normal relations with Israel.
Speaking to reporters at the White House after talks with King Salman of Saudi Arabia, he said he believed that Saudi Arabia, along with other countries, would also establish diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv.
