So far, there has been no detailed official study on corona deaths in the country. The exact reason why the death rate is so high in Chandpur and Comilla and lower than in other districts is still unknown. However, experts believe there is less evidence outside of Dhaka. That is why many of the suspects stay out of the test. The number of confirmed victims is decreasing. This is one of the reasons for the high mortality rate. Again, medical services outside of Dhaka are not as developed, there is less awareness among the people. Due to these reasons, the death rate is higher outside of Dhaka.

The first death toll in Chandpur was confirmed on April 4. April, May, June, July: these four months have seen more coronary infections and deaths. Among these districts, Chandpur Sadar, Hajiganj and Faridganj have the highest number of deaths. However, the death toll has dropped since August. Initially, the death toll was higher due to inadequate medical care. No government hospital in the district has an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
