If there is a framework, concept paper, or direction up front, anyone who comes in the future can easily do any job. Because we are old. I am 84 years old, so I have to take into account how many more days. Those who will come after that should not be missed. Let them have an address too. There is a specific objective … no … we have to go here.

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this at a meeting of the party presidium in Ganobhaban on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister said that the government is implementing the Delta Plan to develop the country and give a better life to the people. She said that the Awami League under the leadership of the Father of the Bangabandhu Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has brought independence to the country. For this reason, when we are in government, our responsibility is not only of the present but also of the new generation of the future, how this country is going to advance, how it is going to function, depends on us.

He said yes, that’s correct. What we are doing now in the evolution of time has to be corrected, changed, refined. It has to be done, it is the rule. We know. So if there is a framework, concept paper or direction up front, anyone can do any job very easily in the future.

At the time, the Prime Minister said, if there was no Awami League government in power, if there was some other party or force, it would not be helping people in this epidemic but would only seek ‘profit plunderers’. Among the political parties, only the leaders and workers of the Awami League have supported those who risk their lives in the epidemic.

He said that the government has helped people of different classes and professions in the country. I think the only Awami League government that was in power thought of the common man in this way and cooperated with the people. If there were any other teams, they would not have done it at all, but they would have seen how they could profit from it. But we work sincerely. This is our policy, this is our goal. This is what the Father of the Nation taught us. That is our way of working.

Sheikh Hasina further said that leaders and workers of the Awami League and allied organizations have supported people who risk their lives. All organizations, including administration officials, law enforcement agencies, and members of the military, have worked diligently to combat the virus.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted various initiatives and plans taken by the government to advance the country’s economy.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister recalled the lifelong struggle of the Father of the Bangabandhu Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to realize the rights of the exploited and disadvantaged people and kill him and his family on August 15.
