Dhaka: If there is a framework, concept paper, or guideline up front, anyone coming in the future can easily do any job. Because we are old.

I am 74 years old. So you have to keep that in mind. How long!

This was stated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in her inaugural address to the Awami League presidium on Wednesday (September 18). The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Ganobhaban. The party president, Sheikh Hasina, presided over it.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted cash incentives and government assistance in the Corona situation.

The Prime Minister said: “We have worked keeping in mind that no class should be left out.” Help has been given in finding those who are painting in the back of the rickshaw. We have also helped those who are dedicated to instrumental music, those who do not have a permanent job. We are cooperating in many ways. Going to work.

‘We are trying to figure out how to keep our country’s economy afloat by tackling the crown. The most important thing is to support those most affected. The current situation in Bangladesh is not just a disaster for Corona, we also have to deal with natural disasters. We have been able to deal with them in a very timely manner. ‘

Bangabandhu Kanya said there was fear of a major flood or long-term flood. There is still water in some rivers. There is also some fault. This time the erosion of the river has become widespread. Some areas have been severely damaged by river erosion. Many people have been made completely homeless. Even then, we are taking appropriate measures to deal with this situation.

Sheikh Hasina said: “We are in a pretty good position financially.” This time we captured the budget deficit at 6 percent. My decision here was to keep 10 percent if necessary. But we didn’t like that. So by keeping it in place, we’ve been able to keep the wheel of our economy moving. Because as a political party, Awami League is the only political party that has an economic policy, but we work with that in mind.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that our rivers are being eroded and damaged. Dredging is needed to save rivers. That is the objective of the Delta Plan, as many rivers as we have and what we have, we will protect this delta by dredging while maintaining the navigability of the river. From now on, we will prepare or guide how this country will move forward for the next generation.

‘In the evolution of time, it must be corrected, changed, refined. That is the rule. We also know that. But even then, if there is a framework, concept paper, or direction up front, anyone can do any job very easily in the future. Because we are old. I am 74 years old. So you have to keep that in mind. How long!

Sheikh Hasina said that the United Nations has announced SDG-2030. The Sustainable Development Goal means that economic development will be stable economic development. We are implementing the provisions that apply to our country. We have been successful in implementing the MDGs. Our success will also come in the implementation of the SDGs.

‘It’s just that our work has slowed down a bit because of Corona. But we think that this poverty should not consume people again. With that in mind, we are offering incentive packages. At the same time, we are making arrangements for people to have access to the villages financially. For this reason, ordinary people should not suffer in any way.

“We have given special incentive packages to farmers,” he added. The farmer can do his work there. I’m aiming for that. We are taking all kinds of measures considering the farmers, workers, ordinary people of this country, even the employees or all our people.
