Six senior police officers from Bangladesh have been transferred. Cox’s Bazar Police Superintendent (SP) ABM Masud Hossain is among the transfers.
The Interior Ministry issued a notification for his transfer on Wednesday. Masud Hossain has been appointed Police Superintendent (SP) of the Rajshahi district of Cox’s Bazar. Hasanuzzaman, SP of Jhenaidah District, has been designated SP of Cox’s Bazar District.
Cox’s Bazar Major (retired) Sinha. After the police shot and killed Rashed Khan, seven people, including OC Pradeep Kumar Das and the fired police inspector Liaquat Ali, were arrested, but Cox’s SP ABM Masud Hossain Bazaar was charged with irresponsibility. The court rejected Sinha’s family’s request to name the SP in the murder case.
Among others, Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner Khandaker Lutful Kabir, Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Police Special Section (SB). Masudur Rahman to Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner, DMP (DC) Deputy Commissioner Muntasirul Islam to Jhenaidah SP district and Rajshahi SP Md. Shahidullah district has been sent to DMP headquarters as DC. The Interior Ministry has ordered that the order be implemented immediately.
