Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has said rapists should be hanged in public or sterilized with drugs. Imran Khan has made such comments in support of the ongoing women’s movement in Islamabad in the wake of the recent gang rape in the country. He made the remarks in an interview with Mueed Peerzada, a 92 News HD television journalist from Pakistan. The Dawn newspaper reported the news online.
Imran Khan said: “Those who are being raped are our daughters or sisters.” Therefore, you will take a position in favor of such an initiative to stop the violation.
Although the rate of violence against women was very high in Pakistan at the time, Imran Khan claimed that incidents such as gang rape were minor. However, the Prime Minister of Pakistan also said that thousands of women choose the path of suicide every year due to love marriage.
Imran Khan called for a united fight against rape and violence against women, not just against the police. Sex crimes are increasing and family systems are breaking down. Due to the high level of pornography in the UK, divorce rates have dropped to 60 percent.
Compared to the West, Imran Khan said: ‘Our family ties are very strong. We can transform our judiciary, but if the family system is broken, it cannot be recovered. ” He also commented that Delhi has become a rape city in the grip of the Bollywood frenzy.
