Approximately 14 lakhs of students have applied for admission. This year, 16 lakh 90,523 people have passed the SSC and equivalent exams.

This online application began on August 9. Earlier on Monday (July 20), the Inter-educational Board Coordination Subcommittee released the admission calendar.

In a notification issued by the Board of Education on September 8, it was said that educational institutions registered with the MPO in the municipal area (upazila) will be able to charge a total of Tk 1,000 for the admission of students in class XI, including those sessions and admission, Tk 2,000 in municipal (district headquarters) and Tk 3,000 in metropolitan areas other than Dhaka. .

No more than five lakhs can be collected for admission to MPO registered educational institutions in the Dhaka metropolitan area. Students will be able to charge a maximum of Tk 7,000 in Bengali including admission fee, session fee, development fee and a maximum of Tk 8,000 in English version for the development of partial MPO or non-MPO educational institutions in the greater Dhaka area and to pay salaries to non-MPO teachers.

No educational institution in the development sector will be able to raise more than 1,500 rupees this time. Last year there were 3 lakhs in this sector. This fee is reduced due to the Corona situation.
