A student has stayed at a teacher’s home in Pakundia of Kishoreganj for six days demanding marriage. He has been staying at the teacher’s house in the village of Chatertekia in upazila since Thursday, September 3, with a bottle of poison in his hand. The student also said that she would commit suicide if she did not implement the marriage demand.
The name of the accused teacher is MA Qayyum. He is the son of Nuruzzaman from the village of Chartertekia in upazila. He is an assistant teacher at Charatertekia Mouza girls’ school.
According to the student’s family and local sources, in 2015, the student passed the SSC for that school. He is currently studying the second year of humanities in a university career. When she was in sixth grade, she used to study privately with MA Qayyum, the school’s assistant teacher. Since then, the teacher developed a love story with the student. Qayyum later had a physical relationship with him, promising to marry him. Realizing the matter, her family married the girl elsewhere three years ago.
But Qayyum did not leave the student behind. Your communication continues on the student’s mobile phone. The teacher took the girl home on Thursday, September 3, promising to remarry her. He spent the night with the student again. In the morning, when the student pressured the teacher to get married, Qayyum managed to escape from the house. Seeing no change, the student has been staying at the teacher’s house for the past six days with a bottle of poison in her hand demanding marriage.
Upon receiving the news, the girl’s father arrived at Qayyum’s house with a large number of people from the area. Although Qayyum’s father pressured Nuruzzaman, he refused to marry the girl.
Ahad Mia, the victim’s father, said: “My daughter used to study privately with Qayyum when she was in the sixth grade at that school.” On this occasion, Qayyum developed a love affair with him. Later, showing the temptation of marriage, he developed a physical relationship with her. We married the girl elsewhere. But Qayyum also did not allow the girl to be happy there. He broke up a family and took the girl home. When pressured to marry, he left his daughter at home and fled. I want justice.
The defendant contacted Qayyum on his mobile phone more than once, but could not find him.
The officer in charge (investigation) of Pakundia Police Station, Shyamal Mia, said: “Our police are stationed in that house.” Trying to convince the girl. As if he went to the police station and filed a written complaint against the teacher. But he does not agree to leave the house. Necessary action will be taken against the teacher if a written complaint is received.
