Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have called for swift implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries. They highlighted the importance of the sixth meeting of the Iran-Turkey Strategic Relations Council.

During a video conference on Tuesday, President Rouhani said that the agreements already signed between the two countries on investment in the energy and transportation sectors, as well as tourism and oil and gas, must be implemented immediately.

Rouhani said that Iran and Turkey have close cooperation on various regional issues, adding that Tehran and Ankara have played an important role in ending terrorism in Syria through the Astana peace process with Russia.

In an online meeting, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for a speedy implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries, saying that Turkey is always ready to invest in Iran’s energy, transport and tourism sectors.

Erdogan harshly criticized the efforts of some Middle Eastern countries to normalize relations with Israel, saying that these countries have clearly betrayed the Muslim world, which goes against the interests of Muslim nations. Parstude
