The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has issued a directive on the public health and hygiene standards to be followed for the reopening of a school once the situation in Corona has been overcome. However, the ministry did not give instructions to open primary schools.

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. Akram-al-Hussein said no instructions were given to reopen the primary school. We have instructed the Director General of the Elementary Education Department to inform everyone by providing guidelines for school readiness at the school level. At the same time, I have asked to organize posters and brochures to raise awareness.

He said that each time it reopens, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has drawn up a guideline (school reopening plan) to reopen the school in compliance with the conditions of international organizations including the World Health Organization.

According to the guidelines, after the opening of the school, all activities of the government primary school will be carried out in accordance with hygiene regulations. Teachers and students should wear face masks, wash hands, and use thermometers. The plan contains 30 instructions in seven separate categories, setting out guidelines on how to conduct the classes each day. These guidelines have been developed following health guidelines issued by the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Ministry of Health to ensure the functioning and protection of coronary heart disease. .

According to the plan, clean-up activities must begin in the presence of teachers, staff, and members of the School Management Committee (SMC) at least 15 days prior to the government directive to open the school.
