“Therefore, it is a defamatory offense under Section 499 of the Penal Code and a criminal offense punishable under Section 500. If the offense is proven, the recipients of the notification may be sentenced to imprisonment of up to two years or a fine or both.

Furthermore, in accordance with Article 29 of the Digital Security Act 2016, the recipients of the notice have committed a crime against Mizanur Rahman by posting or disseminating defamatory information. If found guilty under this law, each will be sentenced to 3 years in prison or a fine of up to Rs 5 lakh or both. ”
