Riya Chakraborty has brought “terrible” accusations against Sushant’s sister, Priyanka Singh. He also filed a written complaint against Sushant’s sister, Priyanka Singh, with the Mumbai police on Monday. In addition to Priyanka, she has filed a complaint with the police on behalf of Tarun Kumar, a doctor and a few others.
Sushant’s girlfriend, Riya Chakraborty, alleged that her sister used to give Sushant fake recipes. Through bogus prescriptions, they were giving him some drugs for mental depression that could never be legally bought. Sushant died five days after taking the prohibited drug. Sushant is referred to in this prescription as a patient in the “Outpatient Department” at Lohia Hospital, Rammanohar, Delhi. That means he was there that day for temporary treatment. But on the day mentioned there, that is, June 8, Sushant was in Mumbai.
Riya filed the complaint based on Priyanka’s WhatsApp chat with Sushant just six days before her death. There Priyanka is seen telling her brother to take three medications called Librium, Nexito, and Lonazep. She gave this medicine to Sushant for an “anxiety attack”. However, these three medications are listed as harmful and are prohibited in the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines.
Riya said the discussion between the brothers about medicine took place the day he left Sushant’s home. Rhea writes in the six-page complaint that it is very important to investigate those who put Sushant in danger by using prohibited drugs.
Following Sushant’s death, his family claimed they knew nothing about the actor’s mental depression. But as soon as this chat was made public, doubts began to arise about the veracity of this claim. So did his sister really give Sushant the wrong drug? Is this death from poisoning? The subsequent accusations raised many new questions.
