Dhaka: Retired Major Sinha at Cox’s Bazar. The full report of the committee investigating the Rashed Khan murder case was released today. Interior Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that the Interior Minister will review the investigation report and take necessary action.
He said the report would not be released now because it was under investigation. If the court wishes, the report will be presented to the court.
He made the remarks in response to a question from journalists after the investigative committee presented its full report in the Interior Ministry’s conference room at the secretariat on Monday (September 8).
The interior minister said the investigation committee has produced a full report. The Secretary will review the investigation report and take the necessary measures.
After presenting the report, Mizanur Rahman, Additional Divisional Commissioner, Head of the Investigation Committee, said: “There is an annex in the investigation report to what we have done so far.” Six people involved in the incident were questioned. In the report we have commented on the origin of the murder, the cause, what to do. This work will not tarnish the reputation of the police.
