At least 20 people were killed in an explosion at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque in Narayanganj Sadar Upazila. The bodies of the worshipers are brought home one by one. The environment has become heavy with the tears of relatives.
The bodies of 12 people were brought to Narayanganj until 5:30 pm on Saturday (September 5). One by one, the bodies of all have been placed in the field. Everyone’s body will be buried at the end of Janaza. Meanwhile, a child’s janaza has ended. The boy’s janaza ended around 6:15 pm. After crying, the relatives took the boy to the funeral.
In the early afternoon, the bodies of the victims were brought one by one to the West Floor area of Fatullah. Many beds have been prepared for the victims’ janaza in the playground of the terrorist’s house on the west floor of Fatullah. The locals are ready to bury the body after bathing and janaza.
According to local sources, 20 people, including children, were killed in the explosion at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque as of Saturday night. The death of so many people at once has cast a shadow of mourning over the area. Black flags were raised throughout the area when they were killed. At the same time, all the shops and businesses in the area have closed on Saturday.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi (UN) officer Nahida Barik received the bodies of the deceased. UNO will deliver the bodies to the families after Janaza.
Meanwhile, the families of the victims will receive a grant of Taka 20,000 in cash, said the Deputy Commissioner of Narayanganj (DC). Jasim Uddin.
Incidentally, an explosion occurred at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque in the Fatulla west floor area in Narayanganj Sadar Upazila around 9:15 pm on Friday. Within moments, panic spread among about 50 people inside the mosque. They tried to leave in a hurry. 36 of them were rescued and admitted to the Sheikh Hasina Institute of Plastic Surgery and Burns. As of Saturday night, 20 people had died.
