Incidentally, an explosion occurred at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque in the Fatulla west floor area in Narayanganj Sadar Upazila around 9:15 pm on Friday. Within moments, panic spread among about 50 people inside the mosque. They tried to leave in a hurry. 36 of them were rescued and admitted to the Sheikh Hasina Institute of Plastic Surgery and Burns. As of Saturday night, 20 people had died.
