Dhaka: The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has expressed its deep sorrow for the victims of the air conditioning explosion at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque in the western part of the city of Narayanganj. The embassy sent a message of condolence on Saturday (September 5).
“We are deeply shocked to learn of the horrible explosion at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque,” he said. We are deeply saddened by the death of our devoted Muslim brothers in prayer. I wish a speedy recovery to all the injured. At the same time, the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
Earlier on Friday (September 4) around 9:15 pm, an air conditioning explosion took place at the Baitus Salat Jame mosque in the western part of Fatulla in Narayanganj. The 36 burn victims were admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastics Institute in the capital. So far 21 people have died. The condition of the rest of the faithful is also alarming.
