The main defendant in the case brought against Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi, an officer of Wahida Khanam and her father in Dinajpur, has been admitted to hospital. Asadul fell ill before the press conference held at the RAB-13 office in Rangpur on Friday night. He was immediately admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital. He is currently in treatment at the National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital in Agargaon, Dhaka. His father is in treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Meanwhile, law enforcement detained 6 people in a one-day operation on Friday. Those arrested are Jahangir Alam (42), coordinator (expelled) of the Ghoraghat Upazila Juba League, Asadul Haque (35), member of the Upazila Juba League (expelled), Masud Rana (40), president of the Shingra Union Juba League, Nahid Hossain Palash (36), night watchman and Rang Islam. (35) and Santu Chandra Das (28) from the same area.
Subsequently, Asadul Haque, Nabirul Islam and Santu Chandra Das confessed to the RAB that they were responsible for the attack on the UN.
According to the RAB, in the initial confession, they went to the home of UNO Wahida Khanum for the purpose of stealing. Among them, Nabirul hit UNO Wahida Khanam on the head. The Ghoraghat Police Station has cases against defendants for various crimes, including drugs.
