Harbhajan Singh will not play in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) for personal reasons. The 40-year-old has become the second high-profile star of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after Suresh Raina.
This year’s IPL will begin on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates. Before that, Chennai held a 7-day training camp last month. But Harbhajan was also absent there. The Chennai team left for the United Arab Emirates before the tournament on August 21. He wasn’t on that tour either. He said he would join the team later.
