The 2003 AK-47 and AK-47 rifles are the most advanced and powerful firearms in the world. This deadly weapon will now replace the Indian Small Arms System Assault Rifle. The Indian Army needs 680,000 AK-47 rifles. Of this, one lakh will be imported. The rest will be produced in India.

This rifle fires 800 rounds in one minute AND 10 shots in one second It can be used in both automatic and semi-automatic mode. Its range is up to 800 meters. After loading this rifle, its weight will be 4 kg 6

The agreement with Russia was finalized during the annual conference of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Moscow. Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited Russia to finalize the deal.

This model is much better than the previous model, as well as playing a very effective role in the high mountains of the Himalayas. India has a high mountainous border with China, stretching from the northeastern state of Ladakh to China. Tensions are rising between the two sides due to recent military clashes. Military experts believe that the Russian AK-47 rifle deal is very important in this situation. The Insas rifle used by the Indian army for so long would have jammed and broke the magazine at the height of the Himalayas.

According to Russia’s Sputnik News, the Indian Army needs 760,000 rifles. These rifles will be jointly manufactured in India by Indo-Russia Rifles Pvt. Ltd. (IRRPL). The Ordinance was signed between the Factory Board and Kalasnikov Concern and Rosoboronexport.

The Artillery Factory Board of India will have a 50 percent stake in it. Russia’s Kalasnikov has a 42 percent stake and the state export agency Rosoboronexport has a 7.5 percent stake.
