Dhaka: Wahida Khanam, an officer of the Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi (UN) of Dinajpur, and her father were expelled from the organization for allegedly injuring two leaders of the Juba League.

The two expelled are Jahangir Alam, convenor of the Upazila Juba League and Asadul Islam, a member.

Juba League central secretary general Alhaj Mainul Hossain Khan told the media on Friday (September 4) at noon.

The Juba League general secretary said, Juba League is an orderly organization. There is no place here for terrorists and extortionists. The leaders of the Juba League, Jahangir Alam and Asadul Islam, who were arrested in connection with the attack on Ghoraghat UNO, have been expelled on the order of the president of the Juba League, Sheikh Fazle Shams Parsh.
