Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has greeted Afzal Khan, a veteran political director of Comilla, who is receiving treatment at the United Hospital in Dhaka for a heart attack. Fruits of various species were brought from the Prime Minister’s Office to United Hospital at noon on Thursday (September 3) in a basket with the words “Greetings from the Honorable Prime Minister.”
Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina exchanged greetings with the children of director Afzal Khan. At that time, she asked them about the physical condition of the beloved leader and wished her a speedy recovery. Anjum Sultana, daughter of Afzal Khan and Member of Parliament for the reserved seat, confirmed the boundary issue. She also wished everyone blessings for her father’s recovery.
Afzal Khan Advocate, 14th district match coordinator and former joint coordinator of the Awami League of the South District of Comilla, suffered a heart attack last Tuesday (September 1) evening. He was rushed to CDPath Hospital by ambulance from his residence in Gobindapur in the city. After first aid, he was taken to the United Hospital in Dhaka. The political veteran is currently in treatment there.
