Ghoraghat officer Upazila Nirbahi Wahida Khanam and his father were attacked by criminals in Dinajpur. They were admitted to Rangpur Hospital in critical condition. Preparations are underway to take them both to Dhaka.
The criminals smashed the fan in the government residence at around 2.30 pm on Wednesday (September 2). Both the body and the head are known to have been injured.
UNO’s father, Omar Ali Sheikh, walks every morning. But this morning he did not go for a walk because his companions went to his house to look for him. They called the house but got no response and reported it to the police. Subsequently, the police found UNO and her father injured, rescued them and took them to hospital. The guard was reportedly locked in a room at the time of the incident.
