The Academic Council of Dhaka University (DU) has decided that the departments will be able to take the exams in accordance with the sanitary standards. Students who have a small number of tests remaining in the department can take those tests in consultation with them.

The Academic Council meeting was held on Wednesday using a virtual platform in the virtual classroom of the Dhaka University administration building, Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury. It was chaired by the rector of Prof. Maryland University. Akhtaruzzaman.

At the virtual meeting, it was decided to ban the so-called ‘Radhag-Day’ festival on the Dhaka University campus. Furthermore, it is recommended that each university faculty form an ‘Ethics Review Committee’.

At the meeting, the faculty / department / institute received approval to conduct the unfinished exams in a coordinated manner following the hygiene rules and publish the final results. Also, on the occasion of the centenary of the university and the golden anniversary of independence, emphasis was placed on the adoption of basic research projects and research publications.
