Dhaka: Bangladesh’s High Commissioner in Delhi, Mohammad Imran, paid tribute on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the portrait of former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.
On Tuesday (September 1), he paid tribute to Pranab Mukherjee with flowers on his portrait at his official residence.
According to the Bangladesh High Commissioner in Delhi, while paying tribute at the official residence of Pranab Mukherjee, the High Commissioner conveyed his deepest condolences to members of Mukherjee’s family, Abhishek Mukherjee, Sharmistha Mukherjee and Inderjit Mukherjee. At the same time, the High Commissioner said. AK Abdul Momen also paid tribute to the portrait with flowers.
During the meeting with the High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Sharmistha Mukherjee expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of her family. On 2 September a demonstration was organized in Pranab Mukherjee at the High Commission.
Former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee died in a Delhi hospital on Monday (August 31).
