Expressing grief, Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina said: “Bangladesh lost a loved one in the death of Pranab Mukherjee.” On Monday, Sheikh Hasina recalled the Bangabandhu family and many personal memories with Pranab Babu.
In his message of condolence, Hasina said: “Pranab Mukherjee’s unique contribution as a politician and our best friend in the great liberation war of Bangladesh will never be forgotten.” I always respectfully remember your outstanding contribution in the liberation war.
The Prime Minister of Bangladesh said that Pranab Mukherjee has always supported us during his exile in India after the murder of ‘Father of the Nation’ Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15, 1975. He would watch over my family during such difficult times. He has come and has supported me in any need. Even after returning to the country, Pranab Mukherjee has cooperated. Encouraged. Wishing peace for the deceased soul of the former President of India, Hasina conveyed her deepest condolences to the grieving family members.

Pranab Mukherjee took his last breath at the Army Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi on Monday after fighting death for 22 days. He also underwent surgery to cause a brain hemorrhage. However, in the end he couldn’t cope with Covid’s push with him. He was 65 at the time of his death.
