Dreamer of the Jamuna Group and founding president of Freedom Fighters. After Nurul Islam’s death, his wife, defender Salma Islam, has been nominated as the new president.

Defender Salma Islam has previously served as Vice President of the Jamuna Group. She has been Minister of State in the Ministry of Women and Children’s Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. She is a member of the current National Assembly and editor of ‘Dainik Jugantar’.

Advocate Salma Islam has been making an outstanding contribution to the economic development of the country, building industrial infrastructure and creating job opportunities. She has long been involved in various social, cultural, socioeconomic, educational, human rights, and children’s and women’s rights initiatives. Defender Salma Islam has been involved in the legal profession since 1991 as a senior attorney at the Dhaka District Judges Court, the Dhaka CMM Court and the Bangladesh Supreme Court.
