Ministry of EducationThe Ministry of Education has adopted a plan to send them directly the salary money of private teachers registered with the MPO. According to the plan, Bangladesh Bank will provide this money through mobile banking. However, teachers have expressed different opinions on this.
Their demand is not for mobile banking, but to pay salaries and benefits directly to their respective banks. They have also demanded salaries and bonuses in the process where government employees are paid directly. On Monday (August 31), teachers submitted a written request to the Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education and the Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education.
Nazrul Islam Rony, Chairman of the Bangladesh Teachers Association and spokesperson for the MPO-affiliated Nationalization Liaison Forum and general secretary of the Bangladesh Teachers Association, Md. Mezbaul Islam Prince.
According to the written request, teachers, officials and employees registered with the MPO have long been demanding to pay part of the government salary directly to the bank. But the idea of giving money through mobile banking continues without being effective. This news has sparked intense anger and dissatisfaction in the teaching community. If teachers, officials, and employees are paid through mobile banking, it will be difficult for teachers to obtain consumer loans. There may be more problems getting a monthly salary. If it is introduced, the government will waste a lot of money. With this wasted money, it will be possible to nationalize MPO-registered teachers. Furthermore, all the teachers have opposed the mobile banking system.
In this situation, you are urged to take the necessary steps to pay the salaries of teachers, officers and employees registered with the MPO directly through your own banks rather than through mobile banking.
