The body of Major General (retired) Bir Uttam Chitta Ranjan Dutt (CR Dutt), Commander of Sector 4 of the Liberation War and Founding Chairman of the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unit of Bangladesh Parishad, will not be transferred to Shaheed Minar Central . Rana Dasgupta further said: “His body will not be taken to the Shaheed Minar due to the current situation in Corona. However, she will be given an honor guard in Dhakeswari on Tuesday. From there, the body will go to the Bardeshwari crematorium in Sabujbagh. The army will greet you there from 11:30 am to 12 noon. Then the body will be cremated. ‘
Meanwhile, CR Dutt’s body arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday (August 31) at 8.40am on an Emirates Airlines flight.
CR Dutt died in a United States hospital on August 25 at around 9:30 am Bangladesh time. She was 93 years old at the time of her death. She suffered from various diseases due to old age.
