Obaidul Haque said Sunia Sau, 29, daughter of the late Faguram Sau and the princess couple from the Jheragaon Police Station in the Mangli district of Chhattisgarh state in India. In 2006, she married Rohit Sharma of Dhanura in the same state. She has two children in that family.

Obaidul said he was working as a bricklayer in different parts of the state on a valid visa. Towards the end of 2016, Obaidul developed a relationship and a love affair with Sunia Sau. After learning of that relationship, Sunia Saur parted ways with Rohit Sharma. At that time, Sunia Sau married Obaidul and moved to Delhi.

He said they had been in Delhi for four years and had a three-year-old son. Obaidul moved to Bangladesh during the coronavirus outbreak.

Obaidul said that on July 25, Sunia arrived in Bangladesh with her children after crossing the border from Bhurungamari in Kurigram through intermediaries from the two countries. Members of BGB detained Sunia and her children after the incident came to light due to a dispute with his first wife, who had been living at their home for the past month in the eyes of locals.

Lalmonirhat BGB 15 battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Touhidul Alam, said: “The Indian woman has been turned over to the police for illegal entry. The court will make the next decision on him. “

OC Rajiv Kumar Roy said that the BGB had filed a case against the woman on Friday night for trespassing. He and his children were brought before the Kurigram Judicial Court of First Instance on Saturday afternoon. They were later sent to Kurigram prison by court order.
