The incident took place on Thursday night in Morabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. The patient, a bank manager by profession, was admitted to the Tirthankar Mahabir Medical College and Research Center.
The deceased was identified as Rajesh, manager of the Grameen Bank in the area. City Police Superintendent Amit Anand said: ‘Rajesh jumped from the sixth floor of the hospital. I used to work as a manager at Grameen Bank. On July 21, his Kavid-19 report was positive. He was admitted to the government hospital on July 25. Initially, the police speculated that Corona may have emotionally broken him.
A few days ago, on August 26, a leader of the Andhra Pradesh Congress also committed suicide after being attacked by Corona. The late Sirigireddy Gangi Reddy was the vice president of the Kadapa District Congress. He committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train. He was later taken to the hospital where he was diagnosed with corona.
In early May 26, two patients, both middle-aged, committed suicide at two Chennai hospitals only 24 hours apart. The first incident occurred at the city’s Stanley Medical College Hospital. The 50-year-old resident of Mathur in the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu committed suicide by hanging himself. He was admitted to the Chennai hospital a few days ago with corona symptoms. Another suicide occurred at the Government General Hospital for Multiple Specialties in Omandura, Chennai. A 56-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself. His body was recovered Wednesday morning. Home in Rayapuram, Tamil Nadu.
