Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said that the situation for taking upper secondary and equivalent exams has not yet been created. If the environmental conditions are favorable, the test will be carried out in two weeks of preparation. The Ministry of Education is preparing for the exam.
He was answering a question from reporters after a panel discussion at the National Museum on Saturday.
The Education Minister said the situation to take the HSC exam has not yet arrived. No decision has been made to cancel the test. We were ready to test, we still are.
He said 14 lakh candidates will participate in HSC. Around 20 to 25 lakh people, including people from the test administration, will participate in this test. Those who come and go by public transport. It is not possible to take such a great health risk right now.
He added that as the contagion rate decreased, different countries in the world opened educational institutions. The result was not pleasant. It has been forced to shut down again due to an infection. He also said that we will not open educational institutions with such health risks.
Previously, the Ministry of Education had urged not to hear rumors about HSC and equivalent exams.
