Kushtia-1 (Daulatpur) deputy of the ruling party of the seat A. Ka. M. Sarwar Jahan Badshah’s half brother, Hasinur Rahman (50), was beaten to death by villains in broad daylight.
He was killed in front of his home in the Filipnagar village of upazila around 8:30 am on Saturday. Police arrested the attacker Mojibur Rahman Bayati.
Police and relatives of the deceased said that in the morning, a local named Jabbar rode a motorcycle from his home to the local market. It was moving towards. At that moment, Mojibar Bayati from the same village, who was already lurking near a store next to the house, suddenly attacked him. At one point, the assailant looted Hasinur’s body in different locations with Ramda and at one point he fell off his motorcycle on the road. Later he died on the spot.
Kushtia Police Superintendent SM Tanvir Arafat said that the killings were initially thought to have been caused by previous hostilities. The only attacker, Mojibur Rahman Bayati, has been arrested.
If someone else is involved in the incident, they will also be subject to the law. Police have been deployed to the scene to prevent any adverse incidents.
