He was speaking as the main guest at a reception for 5,000 newly recruited nurses in the conference room of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery in Agargaon in the capital on Thursday noon.

Zahid Malek said the government is making the right decision at the right time, making Bangladesh less affected and killed than other countries in the world today.

The health minister said the number of tests for crown samples has multiplied in the past month. As a result, most of the affected people are being identified. The more infected people are identified, the lower the risk of infection. This sample test will take 10,000 soon and then 15,000. The government has enough kits for this.

Zahid Malek commented that nurses should work with special compassion in the service of Kovid-19 patients.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Health, 43,000 nurses were added to the medical sector and 5,054 new nurses were recruited. In addition, the Prime Minister approved the appointment of 15,000 other nurses, midwives and technologists, the speakers said.
